About The Pink Promises Collection

I have 4 children who have now grown into wonderful human beings. Three daughters and a son. I adore my son but as a woman, I find that my daughters fascinate me. I have learned so much about women and about myself from them.

In early 2021, I spent some time contemplating changing seasons in nature and in life; especially as a woman turning 55. Reflections of a youthful carefree childhood, dreams of a young woman looking forward to marriage and family. The growing pains of motherhood all these beautiful stages and struggles of a woman's life.

And so I started to paint. Youth, love, growing and aging are represented in the pieces in my "Pink Promises" series.

"Rise" is all about the potential of youth.

"He Loves Me" has a double meaning for me. Love, and all its hopes and expectations yes, but also the love of the Creator, enduring and faithful.

"Grow" is about new seasons in the cycles of life.

Finally, "Fade" speaks to fading youthfulness and aging with beauty and grace.
